Rosie Havers is a Research Assistant at the Wales Centre for Public Policy, joining the team in October 2020.

Before joining WCPP Rosie worked on a range of projects, from developing numeracy, literacy and outdoor learning resources for schools, to a systematic review on the biodegradability of plastics with Science Advice for Policy by European Academies. Prior to this, Rosie worked as a primary school teacher, as well as researching in, and running, a range of school gardening and outdoor learning programmes in Wales, England, Canada and the USA.

Rosie has a background in Geography, with a BA (Hons) from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Food, Space and Society from Cardiff University.
Rosie’s research interests are in sustainable food systems and food security, education and outdoor learning, and digital communication.
