Domestic abuse interventions in Wales

Project status Active

This project looks at the evidence on how to keep people in Wales safe from domestic abuse. Our approach involves initially reviewing the international evidence for domestic abuse provision, in collaboration with an expert critical friend. This will form the basis for roundtable discussions with key stakeholders (including domestic abuse survivors) as to what approach to provision works best in the Welsh context.

During the roundtables, we’ll also discuss the model for domestic abuse interventions suggested as part of developing the 2015 Violence against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (Wales) Act to see what is working well, and where there is further room for development.
