Greg joined the Wales Centre for Public Policy in October 2021 as part of the Research Apprenticeship programme. He is interested in public policy, political leadership, and how evidence is used in policy decisions, as well as a variety of policy areas including energy, transport, and the foundation economy.

He has a background in politics and political psychology. His Masters’ dissertation examined the influence of leaders’ personality traits on the topics discussed in Scottish First Ministers’ Questions during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to joining WCPP, Greg worked as a Research Assistant within the Neuropolitics Research Lab at the University of Edinburgh where he was involved in a project exploring how Brexit and COVID-19 were discussed on social media within the UK nations.
