Amy is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Trials Research on secondment to the Wales Centre for Public Policy as a Research Associate, to learn more about the role of evidence in policy development and implementation. Her work at the Wales Centre for Public Policy involves supporting the development and delivery of projects with a focus on health and social care and governance and implementation.

For the last 7 years Amy has been study manager of large multi-site healthcare improvement studies, developing, implementing and evaluating health and social care improvement initiatives.  Amy is also deputy lead of the qualitative research group at CTR. Her main area of interest is in impact – ensuring evidence is used to develop context-appropriate solutions that can be embedded in practice.

Amy has a background in sociology (BA Hons), public health (MPH), and health services delivery (PhD).
